Ohh! Ohh! The Bishop also loves House of Cards. I think its awesome they are shooting stuff in Bmore! I heard from ZonTV that Kevin Spacey lived in Bmore during the shooting and said our city was awesome!
Something ya’ll didn’t mention is netflix releasing the whole deal at once. Surprised you didn’t bring up the whole binge watching deal.Seth Godin weighed in on it here: http://sethgodin.typepad.com/seths_blog/2013/02/dripping-and-syncing-the-buzz.html There is a response to Godin here: http://jeffandwendy.wordpress.com/2013/02/22/did-netflix-make-a-mistake/
Oh yeah, that was something I had meant to talk about. Dang. The binge watching effect coupled with the fact that no one is watching this show at the same time makes it really difficult to discuss…
House of Cards rocks! The fact that it ran all at once was perfect. Once I started watching, it was all I wanted to watch. And then it left me hanging…So frustrating. Dare I say it was more entrancing than Breaking Bad…?
Spit out my tea laughing so hard that you guys actually discussed the city coming up with anywhere close to realistic numbers regarding how much $ this tax or that Grand Prix will bring in. Also, DO they actually hold people accountable for doing their job well? Wish it were different but both of these notions seem like pie in the sky from what I’ve seen from the powers that currently be. I enjoyed listening, and i really want some beef jerky! Thanks, guys!
