A mere four months after closing and being listed for sale a short time later, it would seem ye Olde Muggsy’s Mugg House has itself a potential (99% probable) new owner and a new name, eyes and ears around the Federal Hill area have seen a small crew of folks buffing the floor and cleaning up the joint. After leaving cryptic comments on previous posts on the matter and no response to email requests for more info, we now see the license transfer for Muggsy’s new monicker…

I don’t know whether to laugh, cry, or high five them. Possibly all three at once. Is this name up there with Green Cilantro and N.A.D.D.S? Or for more fun, let’s speculate on what kind of offerings the new place will feature – 20+ craft brews on tap? Gourmet pizza? Tapas? Or will it try and stick with its predecessors past and be all Irishy? I can’t wait to find out!

Hey all. This is one of the new owners of the bar. We came up with stumble inn after having a few beers with friends. We got a great laugh out of the name but after doing some research we realized it has been used many times before so we added ales to the name. We decided to scrap the whole name and it will now be called Brewers Cask. We are extremely excited about opening and are in the process of partnering with a great chef. Our main focus is providing affordable options and great food. We are hoping to have a combination of 20 micros/European/and cask ales but we may start out a little smaller. That small crew of people you see in their every night is my business partner and I. Stop in and introduce to yourself sometime and check out our newly sanded floors! We spent 30 hours sanding and refinishing. We are having a great time meeting the locals in the neighborhood. knock or swing by and ask for Jason or AJ.
