You ARE Millennials! However, many times, there is a difference between those born in the first 10 years and the second ten years.
Generation X (or 13th Generation) are a Nomad/Reactive type of generation and their formative years were during an “Awakening” era and are considered to be similar most recently to the Lost Generation. Millennials are a Hero/Civic type of generation and their formative years were during an “Unraveling” era and are considered to be similar most recently to the G.I. Generation.
Since 2005, we started to see the birth of the next generation, the Homeland Generation are a Artist/Adaptive type of generation and their formative years were during an “Crisis” era and are considered to be similar most recently to the Silent Generation.
I studied this in college and LOVE this stuff. The best book on the topic is Generations by William Strauss and Neil Howe.
