(edit/correction: like some other joints that wind up bought/sold/transferred, SoBo is still in operation. Forgot to add that – thanks to restaurant wizzzard @gorelickingood for pointing that out!)
I close my eyes
Only for a moment and the moment’s gone
All my dreams
Pass before my eyes a curiosity
Dust in the wind
All they are is dust in the wind
Same old song
Just a drop of water in an endless sea
All we do
Crumbles to the ground though we refuse to see
Dust in the wind
All we are is dust in the wind
(guess that PSA didn’t do the trick)

One thing I find most curious about this transfer – the request for live music. Live music? In that space? Not a whole lot of room in that space. Outdoor service, eh, sure why not. It’ll be interesting to see what the next set of folks want to do with ye olde SoBo Cafe, and it’s sad to see them go (when/if they do – as above)- they had some of the best meatloaf in town – generally haphazard service and hours, but great meatloaf.

Outdoor seating? A proper Beer Garden would dampen the loss.
the restarant is not closed.
not closed indeed, should have added that – I doubt it will linger in Settlement Limbo like Bill’s Lighthouse has up until now (http://wp.me/pe0ie-1Ar) – thoughts?
Finally gone.
I ate their last night, it’s still open
in settlement limbo as well, new owner didn’t get the blessings of the Federal Hill Neighborhood Association. Hopefully the deal still goes through. Sometimes the NA’s have a little bit too much power, oh well…
yeah those guys suck.
