Next month around this time, when the fall air begins to settle upon us all and give sweet relief from a Summer than one could only describe as “pretty fucking hot,” comes also the time to celebrate one man and his fashion sensibilities: Bill Cosby. Which is why on October 15th starting at 4pm, the Coogi Sweatered masses will gather starting at Dark Horse Saloon in Canton and briskly make their way along Boston Street until such time as they arrive at Bad Decisions in Fells Point, where the Jello Pudding Pops will flow like wine and some of the most interesting Jello-related alcoholic creations will be made and consumed.
It’s Baltimore’s first ever (to my knowledge anyway) Cosby Sweater Bar Crawl. Get out there and find the finest Cosby Sweater your thrift money can buy, grab a $5 bill (as a donation, proceeds going to BARCS) and join the excitement that only a Cosby Sweater and lots of alcohol can provide. The first few people to arrive will receive fun prizes, while supplies last! See you all there!

Oh, sounds like fun! It’s doubtful, I’ll be in town, but If I am, I will likely attend. And, yes, I will go to the thrift shop. Last time I went, I got that lovely faux fur coat for the Hon demonstration 😉
