tree2.jpg Since Evan has “crazy-homeless-people-blogging” locked up, we have to look elsewhere for expertise on the full variety of urban fauna. Earlier, we learned how to classify hipsters. Now the same careful scientific method has been applied to our darker subcultures: “Goths In Hot Weather“. If you’d like to contribute, I suggest camping outside of your local Spencer’s Gifts or Hot Topic with a camera.

Now what we really need is a location-based photo-survey, say at the Towson diner, the Paper Moon, or a local 24-hour diner (must allow smoking). Then we can see how these species act in their natural habitats, trace their life cycles, observe mating patterns, record how territory disputes are resolved…
