Tonight, the Baltimore Ravens engage the preseason insanity killswitch as they take on the Eagles at 7:30pm, feeding Baltimore’s insatiable lust for all things football, especially in the face of our other local sports team – which shan’t be named due to the possibility of uttering its name resulting in some sort of mummy-like curse. Regardless, where should you go to watch this Ravens preseason game, and why? Which place has the size, awesome specials and salt-of-the Earth goodness found in its patrons to make it worth your while and dollar bills to view such a spectacle?
After hours and hours and hours and hours of research (possibly less), the time has come to make an official “This is the place to go to see the Ravens preseason game” pick: Poncabird Pub (1719 Poncabird Pass, Canton Industrial Area).
Why? First, outdoor/indoor patio. It’s huge, so if you like sitting outside on a shockingly nice day like today while simultaneously watching football, you can’t really go wrong here. Second, the Ravens fans at Poncabird are about as die hard as you can possibly find, who will undoubtedly show some Baltimore pride that will make the Pride of Baltimore II look like some sort of prideless joke. Expect a lot of cheers, yelling, possibly fighting, and good ol’ fashioned throw down good times.
