You’ve seen the tweets, heard about the eventuality of this day and you quaked with anticipation. Well it’s finally here. The glorious day that a T-shirt was made with a pit bull on it playing with a ball OH SO HAPPILY! and declaring its status as the

PATRON PET OF BALTIMORE.

(not to be confused with Patrón, an alcoholic beverage)

That’s right folks for a mere $15 you can have this adorable shirt in a big ol’ comfy cotton T, with a portion of the proceeds (as always) going to BARCS, Baltimore’s favorite animal shelter. The more we sell, the more they get so spread the word please! (Smalls and XXL’s are in very limited quantities so if you’re wee or extra big, you might want to get on it quickly!)

and if you didn’t listen to yesterday’s podcast for the free shipping promo code, you’ve got one week to do so – so go right ahead and do that! Sizing info posted below. Let’s move these shirts pronto!

This is the most excellent of shirts. I like the design, created by one Pat Coleman, as well as the fact that part of the proceeds will go to BARCS! http://baltimoreanimalshelter.org/

The house behind mine, in Pigtown, a few weeks ago I heard a guy screaming, so looked out the window to see his pitbull attacking their other dog, a yellow lab. The pit eventually killed the lab, after 40 or so minutes of the worst thing I’ve ever seen, so much blood and dogs howling and yelping and mauling the guy’s arm the one time he tried to intervene and pull the pit off the other dog. Maybe I’ll buy this guy one of these shirts as a reminder of what a great pet he had.
