Dave Attell’s Insomniac in Baltimore

(video is up on our webspace, apologies for the lack of ease of use that is youtube)

While rummaging through an entire life’s worth of crap left in my childhood closet the other day, I found something of untold worth: my old VHS collection. $35 dollars for a video capture device and hours of editing later, I’ve got a video treasure on my hands – Dave Attell’s visit to Baltimore for his Comedy Central show, Insomniac. The Baltimore episode is from season 1, and isn’t available on DVD. In fact, I couldn’t find it anywhere else on the internet. Unfortunately it’s not the whole episode, but it’s a pretty good glimpse at 2000 era Baltimore, where smoking was still allowed in bars and Bohager’s was the venue of choice for drunken debauchery years before Harbor East even existed.

Dave pops into The Wharf Rat, Mum’s, Bohagers and hangs out by 723 and gets harassed by idiots. Enjoy!

    1. Evan,
If it’s possible, I need to the episode in its entirety. I think I know someone in the video (the part you cut out), but I’m not positive. It’s impossible to find the full episode online. Can you help?

  1. I’m using a Mac and I’m not getting any audio. WMV support is pretty buggy on Macs in general. Try taking a look at Vimeo.
