Well I kind of think the reason it sucks mostly is because it isn't solely dedicated to Baltimore, although I really like the layout for the most part even though it gets pretty busy at times.

They have like 2-3 people running around taking pictures of people at the most popular venues and that's about it. If (when?) I had such a website it would be a little more thorough with details and user feedback on all bars, big and little with CURRENT listings of specials etc. For instance, the Locust Point Neighborhood section has like 3 restaurants and 2 bars despite the fact that it's a really small area to the point that keeping all of the listings would take minimal effort, but it's totally incomplete.

Across all resources on the interwebs finding stuff Baltimore related is easy enough, but it's not really the case with metromix.

Wow, metromix kind of sucks, as the "hot spots" it covers is powerplant live and the Hammerjacks/Club One areas. Fed Hill and Canton are both excluded i think...

Indeed, The Examiner was one of the links I nested in there. I read it pretty frequently online although it lacks in substance somewhat. To be expected for a daily I suppose.

Good to know the under armor crowd is represented.

Isn't there already a short free paper (the Examiner) in Baltimore?

How will this get worked into the plot of the Wire?

I always enjoyed grabbing the Washington Post's free 'zine thingy before boarding the metro every morning.

Also, "Stuff White People Like" is freaking awesome.
